Following the announcement that they are to release the hotly anticipated ‘I’m With You’ album on 30th August, long established American rock gods the Red Hot Chili Peppers yesterday announced details of their eagerly-awaited UK and Ireland tour, which will kick off in Dublin on 4th November.
The tour will see Anthony Kiedis, Michael “Flea” Balzary, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer, who has replaced John Frusciante on guitar, to perform an electric assortment of their biggest hits including ‘Californication’ and ‘Under the Bridge’ as well as new tracks including ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’, the first single to be released from the new album.
The tour announcement appeared on their official website last night and sees the Red Hot Chili Peppers confirmed that they will visit cities including Glasgow, Birminghamand London for the 2011 tour. Ticketholders can expect a stunning performance from the legendary rockers.
The new album ‘I’m With You’, which will be their tenth album, follows on from their 2006 release of ‘Stadium Arcadium’ making it their only album release in the past five years.
